Elladan and Elrohir

Elladan (= "Elf-Man"):
Born in the early years of the Third Age. First child of Elrond, Elrohir's twin. Described with dark hair and grey eyes. When his mother sailed over the sea after being tortured by orcs, he and his brother developed a strong hatred against orcs. They often went with the Dúnedain to hunt them. At the beginning of the War of the Ring they were scouts who secured the paths for the Fellowship. Later they joined Aragorn and went with him through the Paths of the Dead. On the Pelennor Fields they fought with a star bound to their forehead. After the war they returned to Imladris. It is not sure whether they chose mortality or immortality, but as they had a strong relationship they certainly chose the same fate.

Elrohir (= "Elf-Knight"):
Twin of Elladan, son of Elrond. Appearance like Elladan. Fought in the WotR. (see 'Elladan')
