General facts about the Rings

Sadly there is not much information to be found about the Rings of Power. Here is all I could find:

In the early centuries of the Second Age the Noldor of Eregion welcomed a person in their midst who called himself Annatar. He claimed to be a student of Aule (one of the Valar) and taught them great things concerning magic forgery. They made various rings of gold or mithril of which each had a special power. The elves ment no harm by doing so, but Annatar secretly forged himself a masterring to rule all the others. The head of the smiths, Celebrimbor (grandson of Feanor who had created the Simaril)discovered that Annatar in truth was no other than the Dark Lord Sauron. So he brought the three Elven Rings Vilya, Narya and Nenya into safety. Shortly after, Sauron conquered Eregion and tortured Celebrimbor until he betrayed the whereabouts of the Dwarven Rings. Still, he didn't tell anything about Vilya, Narya and Nenya and in the end, Sauron killed Celebrimbor.
It is not known what happened to the nine Rings of Men. They had led their bearers into darkness turning them into Ringwraiths, but those didn't keep them. The Rings of Dwarves however were either eaten by dragons or Sauron managed to get them back.
When the One Ring was destroyed in the fires of Mount Doom, all the other Rings lost their powers.
